Lido 84

Our feelings reside in the deepest part of the throat — an intimate, secret, and mysterious place. To those who wish to listen to that tingling sensation, we offer a succession of unique dishes. Lido 84 is known to be one of the best restaurants at the west shore of Lago di Garda. The restaurant has been once again awarded with one michelin star in 2024. 

Ristorante Bali

It stands in a small square overlooking the lakeside promenade in the most characteristic part of Gardone.  A redesigned lakeside that has preserved its historical charm with camphor and cypress trees, and if you lift your gaze, you’ll see Borghese Island in all its beauty.

Locanda Agli Angelli

In the central district of Gardone Sopra – hamlet of Gardone Riviera – just 100 metres from Vittoriale degli Italiani, the shrine of Italian victories, you will find a small corner of paradise, a historical inn – composed by restaurant and lodging – where you will be able to enjoy your lunch or dinner in a wonderful setting, while feeling unique sensations that will combine together fragrance, taste, and aroma.

Alex and Oli’s thoughts: «Next to the delicious food and wine, this restaurant features a beautfiul terrace in the middle of Gardone Sopra. The ambience there is among the most magical ones, especially when comibined with an after dinner stroll and a Gelato.»

Bar Italia

Bar Italia, located at Lungolago Zanardelli 24 in Salò, is a historic lakeside bar established in 1920. Known for its variety of different Negronis, the bar also offers tasty sandwiches, salads and other anti pasti classics. Situated along the beautiful Lake Garda promenade, it’s a popular spot to relax and enjoy the scenic views.

Alex and Oli’s thoughts: «To us Bar Italia is close to the definition of Dolce Vita. The beautiful location in the marina of Salo paired with an elaborate Aperetivo in the afternoon is unbeatable. The people watching potential there is unmatched.»

Cafè Giardino

Café Giardino, located in Gardone Riviera along Lake Garda’s western shore, is a charming café known for its inviting atmosphere and heavy cycling focus. Situated near the Vittoriale degli Italiani, Italy’s former presidential villa, the café is known as a great spot for the start of the day. They serve great coffees and pastries. Right next to Cafe Giardino is a bakery that also serves great pastries in case the Cafe runs out.

La Darsena

La Darsena, located between Gardone Riviera and Salò, is a charming lakeside restaurant known for its delicious pinsas, a Roman-style pizza. Situated along the western shore of Lake Garda, the restaurant offers a variety of Italian dishes, including fresh seafood and homemade pasta. Guests can enjoy a relaxed dining experience with stunning lake views, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely meal.

Trattoria Marietta

Trattoria Marietta, located at Via Montecucco 78 in Gardone Riviera, offers a delightful dining experience with panoramic views of Lake Garda. Renowned for its gourmet pizzas made with slow-fermented sourdough and topped with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, the menu also features homemade pasta and regional specialties. The rustic yet modern ambiance, complemented by attentive service, makes it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists. Reservations are recommended, especially during peak seasons.
